I do maintain, and I believe reasonably, that ‘Satan’ is a negative corruption of Set, engineered by Judaeo/Christianity for propaganda purposes – and that ‘positive’ Satanism existed – as in the 66-75 period – in spite of this handicap, not because of it. The whole game being out in the open since 1975, so to speak, I think that persons with a sincere, positive interest in the best of what ‘Satanism’ represented should indeed be Setians, and that persons who cling to the Judaeo/Christian propaganda image of ‘Satan’, particularly in a time of increasing fundamentalist extremism & activism, are either self-destructive or naive.”
